Demacratizing Equity Ownership in Real Estate Assets

oo many urban communities lack meaningful control over the capital and real estate shaping their neighborhoods. At the same time, minority developers often face significant barriers when seeking the financing needed to acquire, redevelop, and revitalize properties within their own communities.

When local residents and community stakeholders are excluded from the development process, outside capital can reshape neighborhoods without adequately considering the people who have built their lives there. The result can be displacement, loss of generational wealth, and the erosion of property equity among longtime residents.

The CCREF was created to help change that.

By pooling capital and building strategic partnerships, The CCREF empowers investors, developers, and communities to participate more meaningfully in the ownership and development of neighborhood real estate.

Our mission is to put capital to work where it can create value, expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and help build long-term wealth.
